Gooseberry Neck/island Description
located at the end of horseneck beach state reservation, it is connected by a jetty with a narrow road atop it. you can fish off of either side of the jetty along with the entire shorline as it is undeveloped to private homes. there is a decent size parking lot, but it fills up very quickly. there are 2 towers at the far end of the neck/island which is a great fishing spot. a great location for scup and tautog among other saltwater species.
